Repair Hard Disk Problem Windows 7/8/10 [Final Solution] Stage 2/2


Stage 1: Scan and repair bad sectors with third party software
Stage 2: Scan and repair with check disk
  • Open Command Prompt (Admin).

Explanation

Picture 1. Hard disk partitioned into three parts.
Drive C 100 GB, Drive D 200 GB, Drive E 200 GB.
Picture 2. Bad sectors position.
Picture 3. Estimated bad sectors position on C/D/E drive.

Conclusion:
Found bad sectors in drive C and D, while drive E not found bad sectors.
The next improvement is to check disk for C and D drives.
  • Check disk C and D drive.
  • Open Command Prompt (Admin) then type: chkdsk /f /r c:      
  • For D drive, type: chkdsk /f /r d:

  • Finish check disk D drive restart computer, automatically will continue to check disk C drive..
  • Finish
Repairing disk bad sectors performed in two stages, will result in permanent improvements. Hopefully in the future, disk damage will not happen again.Thanks.
